The Making of the {Re}Wedding (pt 2) Paper Bouquet and decor

Yes I know its been 6 moths since the {Re}Wedding and I still dont have any pictures of the actual day... I'm getting there. We've been so busy getting used to married life :o) just kidding- sort of. Things have been different since the {re}wedding: we knew we had gotten to a really great place within our marriage to even be able to have the {re}wedding and truly celebrate the work Jesus had done, but we didnt realized that it would really mark a new beginning. We have truly had a renewed marriage since that day. I love that Jesus knew it was going to be this good- eventually. We have gone to a deeper level of partnership, friendship and love. Our life and marriage has truly been {re}made and it is amazing the difference it makes!
So, back to the preparations, I am going to try and keep the rest of the prep post quick (meaning I will type less and show more pics- its still gonna be a long post) so I can get on to posting about the big day!

The next thing I made was Adi's bouquet-
I wanted it to reflect her (steadfast and true) so I made the flowers out of paper:
Old sheet music, photocopied bible and old book pages.

These flowers are made from stiffened lace that my Great Grandmother made.
(cut flowers out of lace and soaked them in white glue)

Added old typewriter keys that spelled her name, a clockface and some small broaches.

and filled the beaker with moss: which she veto'd (?) so I refilled with coffee beans.

Teagen the Ring Boy

He carried the rings in a hollowed out pocket watch that we made together.

next,

I went on a mad hunt for lamp stands- I scored the motherload at Buried Treasures in Fairview!

Painted them all black.

to be used at the church and the reception.
(photo spoiler- {Re}Wedding peek)

ok - thats it for today.
Hopefully only 2 more "making of" till the {Re}Wedding Pictures!
just being honest- I had sooo much fun in the "making of"....
